Pisang goreng
Sweet and crunchy fried plantain/bananas.

Ingredients
- 2 - 3 piece — Plantain/Bakbanaan — Make sure the bananas are ripe, color should be yellow with big black spots.
- 1 + a little cup — Rice flour
- 2 tbsp — Cornstarch
- 1 tsp — Salt
- 1/2 tsp — Turmeric powder — For the color
- 1 cup — Cold water
- 2 tbsp — Oil
- 2 tbsp — Flour — Optional, if the batter is too thin

Cut the bananas diagonally, approx. 0.5 - 1 cm thick

Mix the rice flour, cornstarch, salt, turmeric, water, oil together in a bowl. The batter consistency should be a bit like shampoo consistency. If the batter is too thin, you can add a tbsp of flour

Heat up oil to deep fry the bananas.

Add the bananas in the batter and make sure every slice is covered. Deep fry in the hot oil until golden brown.
